WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)- There's no doubt you'll be asked to give a lot over the holidays, but there are ways to help without having to open your wallet.
Southside Baptist Church in Wilmington will be collecting shoe boxes for needy children overseas.
All you have to do is fill a shoe box with some day-to-day items, like school supplies or small toys, and drop it off at the church. The boxes are then shipped all over the world to children for Christmas.
