
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A strong area of high pressure will slide further offshore Sunday. The result will be another sunny day. Once again temperatures will be a little chilly in the morning, starting off in the low to mid 40's. By afternoon it will be downright warm with highs in the low to mid 70's. Clouds will begin to stream into the area Sunday night with milder lows in the mid 50's.
Clouds will continue to increase Monday with a very warm high in the upper 70's thanks to southerly winds ahead of the next strong cold front. Monday night into Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows Monday night will be in the upper 50's and highs Tuesday will be in the low 70's. Colder but dry weather arrives on Wednesday.
