Jamarral Rayshad Vaughn (Source: WPD)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Police Department officials arrested two men in the 1400 block of Meares St. Thursday night around 11 p.m. after checking a suspicious vehicle, according to a news release.
Herbert Ky'keem Copeland and Jamarral Rayshad Vaughn were arrested after officers checked a suspicious vehicle in the Hillcrest community and saw 24 bags of marijuana in plain view inside of the car.
A .44 caliber magnum revolver was also discovered inside of the vehicle and it proved to be stolen.
Both suspects are charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession with the intent to sell/deliver marijuana.
They each received a $50,000 bond.
