WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - New Hanover County detectives arrested Rusty Randall after reports of shots fired in the 3200 block of Woolwitch Ct. around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, according to a press release.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where she is being treated.
According to detectives, warrants for Randall were issues for attempted 1st degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill or serious injury.
Randall was arrested Sunday, Nov. 4 by Pender County Deputies on unrelated warrants and was charged Thursday with additional felonies.
Randall appeared in court Friday, November 9 and was given a $1 million secure bond.
