The three organizations are working to raise funds for the Wilmington Fallen Firefighters' Memorial, which honors seven of the Wilmington's bravest firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty and the 343 New York City firefighters who perished during the tragic events of September 11, 2001, according to event organizer Matthew Soles.

The memorial will serve as a place of reflection and respect to all firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The event will take place at the Cinema 6 parking lot.

The cost is $8 per participant. Each team will consist of ten people who will compete to pull the fire truck 80 yards.
