Rep. Hamilton holds on to seat in the House

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - State House of Representative District 18 incumbent Susi Hamilton will hold on to her seat.

The Democrat defeated her Republican challenger Louis Harmati by earning 66 percent of the vote.

This district covers downtown Wilmington and the northeastern part of Brunswick County.

Hamilton has described herself as a small business owner with city planning and downtown economic development experience.
