NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - New Hanover County Commissioner
Rick Catlin has defeated democrat Tom Gale for the State House of
Representative District 20 race.
Catlin, an environmental engineer, gained 64 percent of the
votes in the General Election.
A part of this brand new district includes Figure Eight
Island and includes nearly 40 percent of New Hanover County.
