WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -
Two people were arrested Sunday, accused of trying to break into Mom's Tattoo shop on Market Street in Wilmington.
According to Wilmington police, a witness who works at an adjacent business said he saw a man and woman casing the store and approach the front door.
The witness then heard an alarm.
The owner of the business responded to the scene and was able to give police surveillance video of the suspects entering the business.
Jessica Blair Penny and James Travis Bennett were taken into custody and charged.
Both are charged with breaking, entering and larceny.
