WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Making a difference can be as simple as rummaging through the dusty corners of your closet.
The annual Salvation Army Coats for the Coatless Drive starts Monday, and will extend through November 10.
Drop-off vests, sweaters, turtle necks, jackets and coats to any of the Hangers Dry Cleaners locations throughout Wilmington. They will wash the clothing for free and ensure that all clothing will be distributed through the Salvation Army, to those in need of warm clothing during the cold days of winter.
If you are in need of a coat, call the Salvation Army Thrift Store at (910) 762-7354. The store is located on 820 North 2nd Street in Wilmington.
