WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Temperatures started off cool this morning and they aren't going to climb that much. With high pressure in control and a northwesterly wind, you can expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 60s.
A dry cold front will move through the area tonight, keeping our temperatures rather cold. Lows will only reach the low 40s.
Winds will start to shift out of the south in relation to a low pressure system that could bring us a slight chance of rain Sunday. As of now, expect mostly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of a scattered shower late Sunday and a 40% chance on Monday. Skies will remain mostly cloudy Monday, although we could see some breaks in the clouds just ahead of our next system.
A coastal low will bring rainy and breezy conditions for Tuesday. As of now, Tuesday will be the rainiest day over the next couple of days. The storm should pull off to the north and clear things out leaving just a 20% chance of a shower early Wednesday.
Remember to set you clock back 1 hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.
