Jairo Arnoldo Rebollo, (Source: Wilmington Police)WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A group out skateboarding Sunday afternoon in downtown Wilmington ended up getting robbed.
Police say an adult and two juveniles were skateboarding and videotaping themselves at the Cape Fear Community College parking deck. A man drove his car up and started asking them about what they were doing. He offered to pay the money if they did a trick for him. While two went to skateboard, the man is accused of grabbing the camera from the third person. Police say they struggled and the man pulled out a knife or razor and held it to a victim's neck.
The victim with the camera tried to pull away and ended up getting cut on the side of his neck and hand. The robber took off, but police found him a short time later near North 4th and Campbell Streets.
The suspect is 27-year-old Jairo Arnoldo Rebollo. He's charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon. He's being held on a $200,000 bond.
The camera has not been found.
