Tree falls on Wilmington homeWILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A massive tree provided one rude awakening for a family in Wilmington Sunday morning.
An 8-year-old girl and her mother jumped out of bed when a roughly 55' tree fell on their Chestnut Street house. Both mother and daughter are okay, but the roof of their house is heavily damaged.
A Cut Above Tree Service arrived at the house Sunday afternoon to remove the tree, which appeared dead on the inside.
