The driver of this Toyota will face criminal charges for its involvement in an accident, according to police.NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Emergency crews moved a mother
and two children to the hospital Sunday night after a crash on Oleander Drive.
All three suffered non life-threatening injuries, according to officers on the scene.
The accident, at the intersection of Hawthorne Drive, closed
a portion of Oleander temporarily. A lone driver attempted to turn left on
Hawthorne, according to Wilmington Police. That's when the car crashed into the westbound SUV, carrying the three
victims.
The paperwork is still pending, but officers anticipate charges to be filed against the driver.
No names were released at the time of this report.
