BRUNSWICK COUNTY (WECT) - A group of four is facing charges in an overnight stabbing that sent two people to the hospital.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, two people were stabbed around 10pm Friday night, on the 2000 block of Linda K. TR SW, in Supply.
One of the victims was a 16-year-old, the other, Michael Donovan, 22, of Supply. Both were transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation around midnight. The three people inside turned out to be persons of interest in the stabbing.
The suspects were questioned and later charged.
Charlie Franklin Guy,30, of Shallotte,is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon, with intent to kill, and inflicting serious injury.
Billy Kenneth Lotman, 22, of Eastover (Cumberland County), Samantha Kristine Hogan, 18, of Shallotte, and Timothy Patrick Canady, 19, of Fayetteville, are each charged with accessory after the fact.
Canady was arrested earlier around 10:22pm, during a traffic stop for an unrelated warrant. The investigation later found that Canady was also involved in the earlier stabbing.
Bond for all four suspects is set at $150,000.
No word on the victims' conditions.
