
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Police are searching for two suspects who held up a Wilmington business early Saturday morning.
According to New Hanover County 911 Dispatch, Jackpot, 5500 Market Street, was robbed at gunpoint shortly before 4am.
The suspects, described as two men wearing black hoodies and blue rubber gloves, came into the store with a black handgun, demanding money.
They robbed the cash register and another customer inside the store.
The men tried to steal the store's safe as well, but were unsuccessful.
Witnesses say the robbers took off on foot.
The amount of money stolen has not yet been released.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
