Most Womanless 2011 - Wilma Fingerdoo
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Opera House Theatre Company has been putting on stage productions for decades, but none of them are quite like this one.
The company is holding its 3rd annual Womanless Beauty Pageant where men take a turn on the catwalk to vie for the crown.
Ten contestants will put on evening gowns, wigs, high heels and even makeup and compete in several categories including audience excitement, interview and talent. Extra points are awarded for costume changes.
The audience can purchase raffle tickets at the pageant for everything from free theater tickets to a weekend getaway. They can also donate dollars to their favorite contestant. Each dollar earns the "lady" an extra point.
At the end of the night three contestants will be crowned for Miss Congeniality, People's Choice and Most Womanless.
