WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Yup, another dry and sunny day in a week and weekend that has been and will be filled with this nice weather. Changes in the forecast over the next couple days are merely temperature driven as clouds and rain chances stay out of the forecast through the weekend.
Look for highs Friday to be warmer than Thursday as the back side of circulation associated with an area of high pressure begins to push off shore. We should see temperatures peak in the upper 70s.
An evening cold front moves in after dark. While dry and rain free, this system will further bring temperatures down into the low 50s for the morning lows on Saturday. The cooler air will help keep us in the low 70s at best during the afternoon.
Highs rebound on Sunday as another front gathers to our north and west. This next front should move in Monday, bringing small chances for showers and cooler weather by the middle of next week.
