October is fire prevention month and students at Lincoln Elementary School in Leland got a surprise visit and education on the dangers of fire.
Crews from Leland Fire Department and Southport Fire Department showed up to the school for a puppet show to teach children about fire fighting and to give tips on how to react in the event of a fire.
