COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Police in Fair Bluff were on the scene of an alleged attempted shooting near the intersection of Hamer and Academy streets Thursday, according to Police Chief Justin Hewett.
Friday, a suspect connected to the incident turned himself into authorities.
According to police, 19-year-old James Hemingway turned himself in Friday. Hemmingway is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a weapon
into an occupied dwelling.
