WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - With four weeks until election day, candidates for New Hanover County Commission and the New Hanover County Board of Education plan to let you know why they deserve your vote.
WECT is hosting another political forum live on WECT.com tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The debate will take place live at the Northeast Library on Military Cutoff Road. The public is invited to attend.
Candidates for commission include Jonathan Barfield, Jr., Beth Dawson, Derrick Hickey, Robert Murray, Woody White and Robert Zapple.
Board of Education candidates include: Karen Clay Beatty, Tammy Covil, Lisa Estep, Jeannette Nichols, Elizabeth Redenbaugh and Emma Saunders.
