"Life Chain" anti-abortion group silent vigilWILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - An anti-abortion group lined the streets with signs in Wilmington today.
The group, Life Chain, held a silent prayer vigil on the streets for one hour Sunday afternoon.
Hundreds of people held pro-life signs on Market St., Oleander Dr., and College Rd. in an effort to spread their message.
"Abortion does take the life of a child and there are some options available," said Freddy Justice, organizer. "Adoption is one of them. Jesus forgives and heals and we are also encouraging people to pray for our nation."
