WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Tornadoes Confirmed. Initial reports from the National Weather Service storm survey teams in Council, NC (Bladen Co.) Boardman, NC (Columbus Co.) and Hallsboro, NC (Columbus Co.) indicate three small, short lived, tornadoes touched down Monday.
In Council, an EF-0 tornado packing 60 mph winds touched down for less than a quarter mile.
In Hallsboro, the "Maze Craze" Tornado was also an EF-0 storm with 65 mile per hour winds.

Between Cerro Gordo and Boardman, a third tornado touchdown was confirmed. Three metal roofs were lifted off of out buildings off of HWY 74 and Macedonia Church Rd. The tornado was estimated to be an EF-0 tornado with 55 MPH and a path width of 20 yards.
