WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has fixed a broken water main in the 100 block of Market Street.
The break happened earlier Tuesday morning. The plan is to finish road repairs and open the eastbound lane of Market in that area by 5 p.m.
A precautionary boil water advisory remains in effect in the area. CFPUA says it hand delivered the advisory to all affected customers. Testing should be finished on the water within 24 hours.
