WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The annual Cucalorus Film Festival is quickly approaching, Sunday night film producers, volunteers and festival supporters attended a launch event in Wilmington.
"It's just a really great time to come down to Downtown Wilmington and see some films unlike anything you would ever see at a multiplex," said Dan Brawley, the festival's director.
During the event, which took place at 128 South Front, there was music and food. Proceeds from the event went towards the festival. This year the festival will run from November 8th to the 11th.
Festival organizers reached their goal of raising $18,000.
