WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - With Halloween right around the corner, New Hanover High School's Lyceum Academy is prepping for their annual haunted house.
Students are recasting the hotel in Erik Larson's best-seller "Devil in the White City." The true story is based on a serial killer that used the hotel to lure victims to dreadful deaths.
The house will include a number of different scary rooms throughout the house. One room will actually contain real live snakes.
The event will run October 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 31 at 7:00PM to 10:00PM on Thursdays to Sundays. Tickets are $10 each and all proceeds benefit the Lyceum Academy of New Hanover High School.
