WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Actor Tim Guinee, who plays Ben in Revolution, is talking about his role in the show and being back in North Carolina, a state where he has spent a lot of time studying and working.

Guinee wouldn't say much about what fans of NBC's new hit can expect from the 3rd episode, which airs Monday night at 10:00 on WECT.

However, he did share some details.

"It is a wildly ambitious show," Guinee said. "And they are doing big, big huge things. You haven't seen how big. In fact, this week's episode, the third episode, you will get an idea of the things we are dealing with here if you tune into this one."

Guinee said the cast and crew are working 12 to 16 hour days on the production. As a result, they are a very tight-knit group. He lights up when talking about his colleagues.

Guinee, who is highly active on Twitter, recently tweeted that he watched the second episode with co-star Elizabeth Mitchell.

"We all love each other, except for Graham Rogers," he joked.  "We all love each other. We are nuts about each other."

This isn't Guinee's first time in the state. He graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He's also spent a lot of time shooting in Wilmington over the past 25 years.

He's thrilled to return to the area.

"I love the food," he said. "I am nuts for the food. I'm nuts for the beach. I like it. People are lovely. People couldn't be nicer to us."

The third episode airs Monday night on WECT at 10:00 p.m. For more news and information about the show, follow our Ashlea Kosikowski on Twitter @AshleaKosi.
