CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) - A concerned viewer posted a problem with potholes on the See,Click, Fix section on WECT.
The post reads: There are 2-3 severe potholes as you turn onto Winner Ave. from Lake Park in Carolina Beach. The potholes fill with water so deep they are invisible in heavy rain and will cause damage to cars.
The town of Carolina Beach is responsible for fixing this problem. Town Manager Tim Owens was contacted and said they are working to fix the problem.
"We are going to place material in it ASAP. The rain that we have had has washed out the material that was placed in it. Our contractor that does this work gets to it as they can," said Owens.
