Fighting domestic violence

Organizers of a forum on domestic violence say they hope Christen Naujoks' death is a wake up call.

About 60 people attended the event sponsored by "Evolve" Wilmington and the Domestic Violence Advocacy Council. They talked about the issues raised by the murders of Jessica Faulkner, Naujoks and others.

Carolyn Brown says she's motivated to fight domestic violence because her friend was murdered by her husband.

Several speakers at the forum said more people need to know how to recognize and help a domestic violence victim.
