WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Students at UNCW were sent a notice about suspicious behavior that took place at CFCC.
According to the email, a "neatly dressed" man went into a classroom after the instructor had just left as students were packing up.
The man said he represented the Veterans Administration and showed some sort of identification. He said he was collecting funds for disabled veterans or for veterans.
The memo to students said the man took several dollars from students and then left.
