BURGAW, NC (WECT) – The upcoming NBC series Revolution was in Burgaw Monday shooting scenes for the show.

According to Town Manager Chad McEwen, production crews were scheduled to film at the Train Depot and water tower in Burgaw.

McEwen said crews are expected to wrap up later in the evening.

According to IMDB.com, Revolution is a sci-fi series about "a group of people struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in world where all forms of energy have mysteriously disappeared."

The show picks up 15 years after a mysterious blackout, which makes everything stop working - from electricity to cars to cell phones.

You can watch Revolution each Monday night at 10 p.m. on WECT starting on September 17.
