1 lb. penne pasta
1 lb. shrimp p/d
2 tbs. minced garlic
4 tbs. butter
4 tbs. olive oil
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup diced green onions
1/4 cup finely chopped parsely leaves
salt and pepper to taste
For pasta, place a large pot of water onto stove to boil.  Once it has reached a boil add a couple of tbs. of salt and penne pasta, once pasta is in stir to make sure pasta remains seperated, cover with lid.  When water returns to boil cook for 8 to 10 minutes until pasta is al dente.  Drain pasta.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet melt 2 tbs. of butter and 2 tbs. of olive oil on medium heat, once butter is melted add shrimp to pan, season lightly with salt and pepper and saute until almost done.  Next add garlic and green onions to saute pan.  Once garlic and green onions are mixed well with the shrimp add 2 more tbs. of butter, 2 tbs. olive oil, 1/2 cup dry white wine, one juice of lemon and saute on medium heat for one minute.  Lastly, add penne pasta and 1/8 of a cup of chopped parsley to saute pan and mix well.   Once finished sprinkle extra parsley over dish and around plate for presentation.
