WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Know how to ride a horse? If you do, you are in luck. Revolution is looking for extras.

The new NBC sci-fi series starts filming in Wilmington next week.

The show is casting men to play members of a militia.

Those who get cast will appear pretty regularly on the show, according to the casting director's Facebook page.

The extras could even get speaking parts in the show.

However, the catch is that you must be an experienced horseback rider.

The show's pilot premiered to an enthusiastic crowd at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend. Fans who tweeted about seeing the show raved about the pilot.

Alex Barnes tweeted "#Revolution is going to be amazing. The pilot set up so many awesome plot lines and characters. Can't wait to see what J.J. has in store for us.

Carolina Ousley tweeted "Saw pilot episode of #Revolution, very interesting! Adding to the list of new shows to watch."

In Revolution, every single piece of technology -- computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights -- mysteriously stop working. Fifteen years after the blackout, a family struggles to reunite.

Monday, the show will film along the NCDOT railroad near Brunswick, Hanover, and Campbell streets.
