Natasha and Farron Craig both hope to appear on 'The Biggest Loser.'KNIGHTDALE, NC (WECT)- Casting agents with NBC's The Biggest Loser were in Knightdale, NC on Saturday, and hundreds of folks from across the country auditioned in hopes of making the show.
Wilmington residents Natasha and Farron Craig, along with their trainer Anita, decided to get up early to arrive in line early.
At over 500 pounds, Natasha is determined to to lose 300 pounds, and Farron plans on getting rid of about 250 extra pounds.
By 7:15 a.m., the audition line was already packed. At 325th and 326th in line, the Craigs were anxious to get inside, but came prepared to sit and wait.
"I'm excited…nervous…confident that something good is going to happen today," said Natasha. "I feel it in every fiber of my being, so I'm excited."
At 12:15 p.m., Natasha and Farron were called in for their audition.
They sat at a table with eight others, all hoping to be chosen to be on the show.
The casting director gave each person two minutes to tell his or her life story, so Natasha talked about being obese her entire life, and how she realized when she saw her cousin die at the age of 25 that she needed to change her life.
Farron also talked about being big his whole life, expressing that he wanted to change and wanted to inspire others to change.
"I was able to talk to people honestly about me and about what I went through, and what made me get here, and what's going to make me get on the other side of this weight, which is weight loss," said Natasha.
The Craigs were supposed to get a call Saturday night to determine whether or not they will move onto the next round. Sadly, that call never came. However, they still have the chance to send in a video audition.
