ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – After allegedly stabbing his girlfriend multiple times with a screwdriver, one Robeson County teen is facing charges for attempted murder.
Major Howard Branch, spokesman for the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, tells WMBF News that 19-year-old Quentin Bullard is charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury after reports that he stabbed his 19-year-old live-in girlfriend.
Branch says Bullard had been drinking Monday morning, and stabbed his girlfriend with a screwdriver during an argument just after 4 a.m. The girlfriend was reportedly stabbed in both of her legs, her left arm and on the top of her head. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, Branch said.
When investigators arrived, the victim had locked herself in a vehicle in front of the home and Bullard was standing in the yard arguing with a witness.
Bullard is being held in the Robeson County jail under no bond on the attempted murder charge, and $25,000 secured bond on the assault charge.
