The twitter feed posted a picture of the actress in the dressing room preparing for a scene. The cast and crew are filming in Cary at Epic Games Studios this week.
In the movie, Paltrow will play the character of Pepper Potts.
"So happy be to be here," Paltrow tweeted.
Paltrow arrived in Raleigh Tuesday and asked her followers on Twitter for restaurant recommendations.
Majority of the movie is being filmed in Wilmington, where actor Robert Downey, Jr. has been sighted.
