Equipment sits outside the Cape Fear Club in downtown Wilmington where 'Iron Man 3' has requested to film next week.WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - It looks like crews are preparing to film part of Iron Man 3 in downtown Wilmington.
The production company issued a request to the city to film at the Cape Fear Club on Chestnut Street at 2nd Street. On Thursday, there was a large trailer, some equipment and several workers there, appearing to get the space ready.
The film request was for Tuesday, May 29 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The production company wants to shut down Chestnut Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Few details are listed in the permit, but the application does say two members of the cast will be there along with 20 extras.
