CHAT at 6:30: Was justice served? Rutgers student gets 30 days in jail for webcam case

WILMINGTON, NC (WSFX) – We're talking about the big news of the day and the big talkers.  Locally, we're talking about a problem for firefighters in Leland.

Apparently, fire fighters discovered that some of their fire hydrants were not working properly.  But worse, they also discovered they couldn't find many of the hydrants to begin with.  They say they're being covered by vegetation.

NATIONAL:  Gay rights activists are disappointed that Dharun Ravi will spend only 30 days in jail for using a webcam to spy on his Rutgers University roommate, Tyler Clementi.  After Clementi was caught on cam kissing another guy, he jumped to his death in the Hudson River.

This is a big talker today.  What do you think?  Was justice served?  Should Ravi spend more time behind bars?  The judge said he didn't believe Ravi hated Clementi.  He believed Ravi acted with insensitivity.

TRENDING:  Kristen Wiig said her goodbyes on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.  What is your favorite skit?
