Mike Ross was at TGIF on Oleander Drive on Sunday for brunch. He started experiencing chest pains. He walked outside to get some aspirin. That's the last thing he remembers. Employee Amy Townsend says she saw Ross unconscious outside without a pulse. She began CPR and after three attempts, she says Ross's eyes opened. He began to breathe...just before emergency workers arrived. Ross is a CPR teacher..and Townsend..when not bartending is a nursing student at UNCW. Ross says the first thing he'll do after getting out of the hospital is go to Fridays and thank Townsend for saving his life.
