Fire takes life of wheelchair-bound man

A fatal fire took the life of a wheelchair-bound man today. Heavy smoke and flames were coming from a townhome this morning, and another person was pulled from an adjoining unit.

Guilty. After several days of testimony, that's how a jury found Thomas Grooms today. Grooms was convicted of two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of David Doolittle and his 17-year-old son, Trey.

Law enforcement officials have been hard at work! Just last night, a teacher's assistant at Ashley High School was arrested for indecent liberties with a student. A group of alleged thieves was also arrested for breaking and entering and larceny.
