PENDER COUNTY,NC(WECT)- Michael Eugene Nobles pled guilty to three counts of first degree sex offenses with underage boys, according to Joe Bowman with the District Attorney's office.

Nobles was first arrested in March of 2011 after being spotted on the campus of Pender High School.  Detectives said he went to the school to meet a 15-year-old student when he was arrested.

At that time he was charged with second degree trespassing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  Later, deputies added five counts of Crimes Against Nature, Statutory Rape and Indecent Liberties with a Minor for events that took place off school grounds, according to authorities.

Nobles will be serving between 14-17 years in prison.
