Ingredients:
2 tbs. extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp. fresh minced garlic
1 tsp. blk pepper
1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (can be adjusted according to preference of
spiciness)
8 fresh devained shrimp
1/3 cup diced fresh tomatoes
1/3 cup fresh or thawed chopped spinach (thawed & drained)
Deglaze pan with 1/3 cup of white wine
Add marinara sauce to thicken (about 1 cup)
Serve over pasta of choice
Garnish with chopped green onions & parmesan cheese
*Can use most types of shellfish w/ this dish. Add crab meat, scallops, clams,
mussels, etc.
Start oil in hot pan, add
garlic, crushed red pepper, Italian seasoning & black pepper. Sautéed with
shrimp & chopped tomato until pink. Add spinach & cook for about 1
minute or until wilted. Deglaze pan with white wine & cook into a
reduction. Add marinara sauce & stir to combine all ingredients over low
heat 4-5 more minutes. Full cooking time for Diavlo sauce is less than 10
minutes. Serve over cooked pasta. Garnish w/ chopped green onions &
Parmesan cheese.
