Police: Naked man found jumping on moving cars

A naked man was found jumping on to cars as they drove past him this afternoon, according to police. He reportedly broke into several houses, and has been taken to the hospital.

New Hanover County released a preliminary list of the 2010 delinquent tax accounts yesterday. In all, 4,662 corporations and people owe the county back property taxes. Tonight, we'll have more details about specifically who is on that list, and who may have been given a heads up that they would be on it.

Wilmington City Council members were taken out to ballpark today, rather than the ballgame. They were invited to check out the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to hear about the city's experiences with minor league baseball.

A man connected to a double shooting that took place in early February is behind bars. Michael Gerrod Jones, 30, was arrested last night and charged with attempted first degree murder, two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied property with serious injury, one county of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflict serious injury. One of the victims in this shooting is reportedly a man recently arrested in Brunswick County after being accused of leading police on a chase.
