Soles in good condition as he recovers from double bypass surgery

Former State Senator RC Soles is recovering from open heart surgery. Former State Senator RC Soles is recovering from open heart surgery.

TABOR CITY, NC (WECT) – Former State Senator RC Soles is in now in good condition as he recovers from open heart surgery.

Soles went to the doctor Thursday and was told he had two major heart blockages. He was admitted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center and underwent double bypass surgery Friday morning.

Soles had heart surgery in 2010 after some of his arteries had blockage.
