Two shootings in Wilmington

Wednesday night was a rough one in Wilmington. There were two shootings and two men were injured.

The first shooting was at Hanover Gardens -- a housing complex off Princess Place Drive. Police say 21-year-old, Terry Green, was shot as many as seven times with a small caliber handgun. He staggered into a nearby apartment where a woman called 9-1-1.

He was alert and conscious when he was taken from the scene to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was released from the hospital early Thursday morning.

Wilmington Police handcuffed and put three men in a police car, but it is unclear if they're connected to the crime.

The second shooting happened at 9:30 pm, when police were called the corner of Sixth and Nixon Streets.

21-year-old, Antwan Lucas, was lying in the road in a pool of blood. He was shot once in the hip.

He was rushed to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Authorities say his injuries are not serious.

So far, no leads on the shooter. Authorities aren't ruling out a possible connection between the shootings.
