Public Policy Polling looked at the potential field of candidates and found that former Congressman Bob Etheridge was the favorite candidate for governor with 21% of the vote.
Former House Speaker Dan Blue had 13%, followed by Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton at 10%. McIntyre came in with 6%, behind Richard Moore and Brad Miller.
A full 33% of Democrats are still undecided, according to the poll.
