Allison Jackson-Foy went missing more than five years ago.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – An unsolved murder case in New Hanover County is gaining national attention for the second time.
It's been more than five years since Allison Jackson-Foy went missing from Wilmington. Her remains were found in a wooded area along Carolina Beach Road in 2008, along with the remains of Angela Rothen.
Foy was last seen alive leaving Junction Pub and Billiards after having drinks with a close friend. Her extended family says there is no way she would have just left her daughters behind.
Her story will be featured Monday on a show called Disappeared. The program airs on the Discovery Channel at 9:00 p.m.
Dateline aired a similar report in 2009.
