WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – According to officials with the Wilmington Police Department, woman faces several drug charges after an incident that took place Friday evening around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of Williamson Drive.
Officials reportedly accompanied social service workers to a home due to a drug-related complaint. As the Lashaunna Johnson, the suspect, answered the door, investigators detected the odor of marijuana.
After obtaining a warrant to search the residence, they found 56 grams of marijuana, four grams of cocaine and various packaging materials.
Officials say three children inside the residence during the investigation.
In connection with the incident, Johnson faces multiple charges.
