
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Laney wide out Tevin Clay is headed to Fayetteville State. Clay will sign his national letter of intent on Wednesday.
During his senior season, Clay had 79 catches for 1,084 yards and 16 touchdowns for a Laney team that went 8-4.
Western Carolina and Western Michigan also had interest in Clay.
"Going in to work hard and work towards becoming a true freshman," Clay said of his decision to become a Bronco. FSU finished the 2011 season with a 4-6 overall record and 4-3 mark in the CIAA.
Clay was named to the ncpreps.com class 4-A All-State team for a second consecutive season.
