Patricia Sykes was cleared of her suspension earlier this week. Brunswick County DSS Board Chairman Charles Warren withdrew her suspension from the board Monday.
Warren had Sykes removed from a DSS meeting in December after she tried to add something to the agenda. He said she was out of line and has been disruptive to the DSS board since she was appointed in July.
At that time Warren also said he would not be surprised if Sykes ran against him for county commissioner.
