Arbor Landing, located in Ocean Isle Beach, has grown from one patient to 33 since its opening in September of 2011.
Carolina in the Morning went to Arbor Landing Monday to visit the residents and learn more about the place.
Every day the residents enjoy a restaurant style breakfast, lunch and dinner together. This gives them time to socialize and interact, but their favorite time of the day bingo!
The games can get competitive, but at the end of the day, residents say they are all family and everyone feels special.
Residents have several opportunities to be entertained. Performers of all ages often come to the center or the residents can go check out a nearby production.
There's also a 24 hour staff on-site, emergency response system, scheduled local transportation to professional appointments and weekly housekeeping and linen service.
